About Us
Our members club caters for all age groups and standards. Established in 1912 as the Dorking and District Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club we became the Dorking Lawn Tennis and Squash Club in 1975. Situated in the centre of the Mole Valley the Club is surrounded by areas of outstanding natural beauty, including the famous Box Hill and Leith Hill.
As well as regular social tennis and squash, both of which are played throughout the year, the club has an active squash league and annual tennis and squash tournaments. The club is represented at a high level in county tennis and squash leagues.
In July 2010 the Club achieved accreditation to the coverted LTA 'Tennis Clubmark' standard and in November won the title 'Mole Valley Sports Club of the Year - 2010', awarded annually by the Mole Valley Sports Council.
Juniors are encouraged to play almost as soon as they can hit a ball in a nurturing, friendly and family atmosphere where they can develop to their full potential, whatever their ability. We are LTA 'mini tennis' accredited which allows even the youngest children to learn to play with confidence and enjoyment. Several of our juniors now represent the club at county level tennis and squash.
