Tennis
We have an extensive tennis section accommodating all standards of play with great emphasis on encouraging and developing Juniors at all levels and ages. We participate in local, county and national competitions, from junior through to veteran categories. The club holds a large annual tournament as well as periodically running American tournaments and other social events. As members of the Lawn Tennis Association, we receive an allocation of Wimbledon Tickets. To be eligible to enter the annual club draw for tickets, you must be a full tennis playing member of the Club and also a member of the British Tennis Association which all tennis members are encouraged to join.
Competitive Tennis
We run 18 senior teams competing in the Surrey Leagues, Dorking and Leatherhead League, Chaucer League and National competitions. Team squad training sessions are organised.
Social Tennis
Club night runs every Wednesday evening throughout the year from 6.30pm until 9.30pm, using free floodlights when required.
Come and join in the popular ladies mornings on Tuesdays and Fridays - all standards welcome.
Floodlights
Our four floodlit courts operate Monday to Saturday inclusive, allowing play until 9.30pm. Payment is by coin operated timer clocks and bookings are made in 90 minute sessions at a cost of £8.00 apart from Clubnight on Wednesdays when the floodlighting is free of charge. There is no charge for use of any tennis court when floodlights are not in use, apart from Visitors Fees which are £4.00 per visitor per court and paid by the club member at the time of introduction.
